Dan Davis

Dan Davis is a notable freelance sports journalist with years of experience reporting on a wide range of events and producing cutting-edge reports, exclusives and in-depth interviews.

He started his career covering Premier League club AFC Bournemouth during his time at university in 2016, allowing him regular access to home matches and press conferences. Other freelance roles quickly followed and he soon made the step up to several senior positions, all whilst studying for a bachelor's degree in Multimedia Journalism.

After graduating, Dan took up work on the MailOnline sports desk, first as a freelance writer and then as a contracted member of staff. Toward the end of the season, Dan stepped back into the wild world of freelancing and balances his duties with GPFans alongside other positions.

Away from writing, Dan is a sports fanatic and can be found watching almost every big event live. He also has a hamster.
